According to the American Diabetes Association, 24 million people in the United State have diabetes. And 6 million people, that’s 25%, don’t even know they have it. So it’s important to understand what diabetes is and how you can help to prevent it or manage the condition.

On Thursday July 28th, from 11 to noon will be an info session covering information about both type 1 and type 2 diabetes. From noon to 12:45 will be a break for everyone to eat. Our pharmacy does have an old fashioned soda counter where you could enjoy a chili dog or a chocolate malt, but guests are also welcome to bring their own packed lunch. Starting at 12:45 there will be some free blood sugar screenings and opportunities to have smaller group or individual discussions about diabetes.

Come join us for this discussion at Lost and Found Pharmacy. We are located at 11555 Frankstown Rd near the intersection of Frankstown and Duff in Forward Center Plaza. You can also call us at (412)243-1369
